Who It’s For
This academy is for students who want their work to actually hit, not just check the boxes.
For creatives who are done with busywork and want a portfolio that will actually get them hired.
Why This Camp
You’ll get hands-on PR training shaped by what the industry actually expects right now.
You’ll learn how to think strategically, build a portfolio that proves what you can do, and communicate with purpose on every platform.
What it's actually like.
You show up Tuesday morning to a real briefing.
A publicist hands you a client brief and says, “Pitch this by Thursday.”
You figure it out. Your mentor helps you get it right.
You pitch it. Sometimes it lands. You learn either way.
By the end of 4 weeks, you have work in your portfolio
that you actually did. Not a class project - real work.
Straight from students who were exactly where you are
Zion Martin, Texas Southern University
“Expanding, enlightening, reinforcing — that’s how I’d describe my Talks Brand Academy experience. I came in unsure of my exact path in entertainment, and the Academy gave me structure, clarity, and real agency experience that pushed me forward.”
Deylesse Montrond, University of Houston
“My most rewarding project so far has been the BeautyCon strategy rollout and event. Seeing my work directly contribute to a real campaign showed me there’s so much more to PR, and it confirmed this is the field I want to pursue.”
